Names

All names in RM Modeler are limited by 23 characters. Since names are also used for the export to RM Bridge, other limits are valid for certain objects:

Cross section names: 16 characters (not allowed characters: "!" and "??")

Material names: 16 characters

Names of reference sets: 16 characters

Information text

All information texts in RM Modeler are limited by 127 characters. But the text will be cut to 80 characters exporting it to RM Bridge.

Expressions of formulas

All expressions are limited by 127 characters. An exception exists for the length of expressions for variables at FE-cross sections. These expressions are limited to 31 characters.

Cross section part: 100

Object numbers for the export to RM

Beam elements: 1,…,64000

Beam nodes: 1,…,64000
